“AMBASADOR ASTAZI” A DOUA EDITIE A CONFERINTEI LAUDER DE DIPLOMATIE SI AFACERI INTERNATIONALE PENTRU ELEVII DE LICEU

În perioada 12-14 martie 2013, liceenii de la Lauder-Reut împreună cu colegii lor din alte 12 școli și licee bucureștene, vor participa la a doua ediție a Conferintei « 2Day Ambassador » de diplomație și afaceri internaționale.

Evenimentul susține un demers educațional unic în țară și străinătate – promovarea studiului diplomației, comunicării publice si afacerilor internaționale, printre toți elevii de liceu.

Conferința este organizată de Fundația Ronald. S. Lauder Romania-Complexul Educațional Lauder-Reut și se desfășoară sub auspiciile Parlamentului României –Camera Deputaților, ale Ministerului Afacerilor Externe, Ministerului Educației Naționale, Ministerului Culturii, Primăriei Sectorului 3, ale Inspectoratului Școlar al Municipiului București precum și ale ambasadelor Statului Israel, SUA, Argentinei, Germaniei, Olandei, Cehiei și Africii de Sud, la București.

Vor veni să discute cu elevii despre ce înseamnă sa fii ambasador astăzi, despre provocările și satisfacțiile carierei diplomatice : Jonathan Fine, consilier academic pentru prestigioasa Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy & Strategy (Centrul Universitar Interdisciplinar Herzliya, Israel), expert de talie internațională pe probleme de antiterorism și securitate; Bogdan Aurescu, ministru secretar de stat pentru Afaceri Strategice din cadrul Ministerului Afacerilor Externe al României; Bogdan Prisecaru, consilier al directorului general adjunct al Serviciului Român de Informații ; Daniel Constantin Barbu, ministrul Culturii, dar și Excelențele lor Dan Ben Eliezer, Ambasadorul Statului Israel, Pieter Andries SWANEPOEL, Ambasadorul Republicii Africa de Sud, Matthijs van Bonzel, Ambasadorul Regatului Țărilor de Jos în România, Josef C. Karl , adjunctul misiunii diplomatice a Germaniei și Gabriel Eduardo Puente, consilier în cadrul ambasadei Republicii Argentina în România.

Despre diplomație și comunicare publică, vor veni să le vorbească elevilor Alon van Dam și Ben Gladnikoff- campionii internaționali în competiții de debating/ public speaking- ambii absolvenți ai Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy & Strategy.

Remus Pricopie, Ministrul Educației Naționale, va deschide lucrările Conferinței, în timp ce doamna prof. univ. dr. Ecaterina Andronescu, senator, fost ministru al Educației, va conduce ceremonia de premiere a elevilor și de închidere a evenimentului.

Conferința va fi moderată de Emil Hurezeanu si Daniel Apostol.

Programul integral al Conferinței este atașat. Vă mulțumim și vă așteptăm la deschiderea lucrărilor Conferinței, din data de 14.03.2013 începând cu ora 09:30, la Sala Duca-Palatul Parlamentului. Accesul reprezentanţilor mass media se acordă strict pe baza confirmării participării conform regulilor de protocol de presă .

Fundaţia internaţională Ronald S. 13^TH MARCH 2013 LOCATION: The Embassies of the Republic of Argentina, the Czech Republic, the Republic of South Africa, the United States of America, the State of Israel, the Kingdom of Netherland, the Federal Republic of Germany PARTICIPANTS: – The Lauder Reut Senior High – 50 students following the accredited courses in diplomacy and international relations – 90 students from 12 high schools in Bucharest OBJECTIVES: 1 DAY INTERNSHIP IN A DIPLOMATIC MISSION: 1. Introducing the students to the daily missions in a diplomatic mission, so that they form an impression about the problems challenges and satisfactions of the diplomatic profession. 2. Students will prepare beforehand for the visit by studying the defining historical and cultural landmarks of your country, and they will also be familiar with its contemporary political, economic, and diplomatic priorities

09.00- 15.00	Leaving to different embassies from the school, together with the teachers Students will participate in groups of 3 to 5 to the internships at the Embassies.
